PURPOSE:To treat the separated water containing water soluble solvent at a low cost and without causing secondary pollution by evaporating separated waste water discharged from solvent recovery equipment and treating gaseous separated waste water by catalytic combustion equipment to oxidation- decompose water soluble solvent in the gas. CONSTITUTION:When the exhaust gas containing water soluble solvent is delivered to an adsorbing tower 5, an adsorbent adsorbs the solvent in the feed gas and the solvent is removed from the feed gas, which is purified and discharged to the air. To regenerate the adsorbent saturated with the solvent, when steam is supplied to the adsorbing tower 5, the steam is adsorbed by the asorbent, causing mixed gas of the solvent and steam, i.e., desorption gas. This gas is delivered to a condenser 7 where it is cooled, condensed and liquefied and the liquid is delivered to a separator 8 where it is separated into a solvent layer 8A and a separated water layer 8B. The separated water including the water soluble solvent is delivered to an evaporator 9 to evaporate the whole of it. After the vapor is mixed with air, it is oxidation-decomposed by catalytic combustion equipment 11 to be discharged to the air. |
