PURPOSE:To provide a low-noise piezoelectric element driving type printing head at low cost by a method wherein the noise developed by the vibration of the head is effectively reduced. CONSTITUTION:The piezoelectric element driving type printing head 1 concerned has a double wall structure by forming a space between its cover 2 and a soundproofing cover 8. The cover 2 has a large number of holes 9 arranged in a checker form and forms resonance type sound absorbing mechanism, which is resonant with the frequencies of noise developing in the interior of a printing head 1, together with the soundproofing cover 8, resulting in absorbing the noise developing in the interior of the piezoelectric element driving type printing head 1. |
