PURPOSE:To provide a low-noise printing device by a method wherein the noise developed by the vibration of a printing head is effectively reduced. CONSTITUTION:A sourdproofing cover 51 is provided so as to cover a head main body 1 are supported by the head main body 1 through elastic bodies 52. A space is formed between the head main body 1 and the soundproofing cover 51 so as to produce a double wall structure. In the above-mentioned constitution, the square root of 2 times of the natural frequency (fr=803Hz) of the soundproofing cover 51 is set to be smaller than the fundamental frequency (4kHz) of noise. |
