PURPOSE:To easily conduct quantitative measurement of blood flow rate and contribute to the shortening of diagnostic time and improvement in diagnostic precision by correcting a blood flow rate obtained by the use of Doppler method on the basis of the angle formed by a blood vessel and a body surface. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic probe 1 conducts sector scanning by ultrasonic beam, collects the received data on each dispersively set scanning line, and outputs it to an image processing part 5. A Doppler control part 7 receives the Doppler signal of a blood vessel part from the image processing part 5, calculates the blood flow rate on the basis of this, and outputs the calculation result to a display control part 6. A calculating circuit part 10 of flow rate correction value corrects the flow rate calculated by the Doppler control part 7 according to the operation signal from an operation part 9, calculates an actual blood flow rate V, and outputs it to a synthesizing circuit 12 through a character line image display part 11. The synthesizing circuit 12 transmits the data of the flow rate V to a CRT 8 together with the B mode tomographic image data or Doppler tomographic image data, from the display control part 6, and displays it on the display screen. |
