PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricant for warm or hot forging containing only wax or wax and a carboxylic acid salt and water, having excellent lubricating property and mold release property and worsening no working circumstance and working efficiency. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricant containing wax such as polyethylene wax and a salt of carboxylic acid such as adipic acid, maleic acid or isophthalic acid and water. Furthermore, the salt of carboxylic acid is preferably an aliphatic monobasic acid salt, aliphatic dibasic salt and/or aromatic acid salt. |
