<p>PURPOSE:To provide a diagnostic device for engine failure which, with no restrictions on location and time, makes it possible for anyone to readily perform a series of work from finding a troubled part of an engine to repairing it while having conversation with a computer. CONSTITUTION:A diagnostic unit for engine trouble comprises a personal computer 1 into which learning software is incorporated; by the software, conditions of an engine are displayed on a CRT 2 while being classified by items, and when corresponding ones are selected from the items, troubled parts corresponding to the conditions are displayed on the CRT 2 while being classified by items, and when corresponding ones are selected from the items, the causes of trouble corresponding to the troubled parts are displayed on the CRT 2 while being classified by items, and when a corresponding one is selected from the items, measures for repairing the troubled part corresponding to the cause of trouble are displayed on the CRT2. Thereby anyone can readily do a series of work from finding a troubled part of the engine to repairing it while having conversation with the personal computer 1.</p> |
