<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the volume and weight of garbage, to prevent its putrefaction and to recycle the garbage as the material to be used for the fertilizer, feed, etc. CONSTITUTION:This garbage treating device is provided with a garbage crushing and dehydrating device 2, a drying vessel 3 into which the crushed garbage is split and charged, the drying air feed pipe 17 and drying air discharge pipe 19 connected to the drying vessel 3, a deodorization furnace 5 for heating the air in the pipe 19, an exhaust pipe 20 for discharging the combustion gas from the furnace 5 into the atmosphere and the heat exchangers 6 and 7 for heating the air passing through the pipes 17 and 19 by the air passing through the pipe 20. Besides, the combustion temp. of the furnace 5 is controlled within the specified range, the dryness of the garbage is judged by the outlet temp. of the drying vessel 3, and the temp. at which garbage is recharged and the drying finish temp. are determined in accordance with the variations in the inlet temp. of the drying vessel.</p> |
