PURPOSE:To obtain a sterilizing and disinfecting liquid useful for the steriliza tion and disinfection of hands and fingers in the medical and clinical fields and capable of effectively sterilizing hands, fingers, etc., by using benzalkonium chloride, ethanol and water as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The objective sterilizing and disinfecting liquid contains benzalkonium chloride (BAC), ethanol and water at ratios of (1-50):(50-3,000):(500-10,000). In the case of using the disinfection liquid as a wiping sterilization and disinfection, the liquid is impregnated in a nonwoven fabric to obtain a sterilizing and disinfecting material. The nonwoven cloth is preferably made from 100% cotton from the viewpoints of moisture-retention, feeling to the skin, wiping performance, etc. |
