PURPOSE:To select the form of outputting after converting to analog signal and the form of outputting as it is digital (serial data), as occasion demands, at the time of preserving an electrocardiogram data, and prevent the increase in size and weight of a device. CONSTITUTION:The electrocardiogram data from a body surface electrode 2 is stored in a RAM 12, and displayed on a liquid crystal display device 16 as an electrocardiogram waveform. When no transmission request signal is received from an external processing device, an analog switch is changed on analog output side, and an analog signal obtained by converting the electrocardiogram data from the RAM 12 by a D/A convertor is outputted through the analog switch and an analog/digital common output terminal. When the transmission request signal is received, the analog switch is changed on digital output side, and the electrocardiogram data is converted to a serial data and outputted from the common type output terminal. |
