<p>PURPOSE:To easily form a coating layer on an insert by providing the cylindrical insert to be fitted to an outer periphery of an end of a pipe, and a sleeve which caulks and fixes a hose fitted to the outer periphery of the insert. CONSTITUTION:A fitting for hose applied to, for instance, a cooler hose of rifregerator for a vehicle is composed of a pipe 2 to be connected to a discharge or an inflow port of a functional part, a cylindrical insert 3 independent on the pipe 2 and to be fitted to an outer periphery of the end of the pipe 2, and a sleeve 5 provided on the outer side of the pipe 2 and used for caulking and fitting a hose 4. A coating layer 6 is formed on a full surface of the insert 3 in order to improve seal life between the insert 3 and the hose 4. A fitting hole 5a of the sleeve 5 is fitted to an outer peripheral groove of the pipe 2, afterward the pipe 2 is widened for fixing the sleeve 5. The hose 4 is fixed to hose metal fittings 1 by caulking the sleeve 5.</p> |
