PURPOSE:To precisely identify the signal and noises by preventing the danger erroneously judge the noises as the signal by the bursting of the noises. CONSTITUTION:The power spectrum is smoothed and processed by an average burst length analysis section 40 to determine the smooth power spectrum, and the noise average burst length and the signal average burst length are continuously detected from the smooth power spectrum while the detection level of noises is used as a parameter. A noise average burst length distribution feature quantity calculation section 50 and a signal average burst length distribution feature quantity calculation section 60 determine the feature quantities of the noise average burst length distribution and the signal average burst length distribution from the noise average burst length and the signal average burst length respectively. A comparison section 70 determines the burst similarity evaluation quantity based on the difference between two feature quantities, and a signal detection section 80 identifies the noises and the signal in the smooth power spectrum based on the evaluation quantity. |
