PURPOSE:To improve contrast by providing a reversible thermosensitive recording layer containing organic low molecular material and resin matrix on a coloring layer, and a refractive layer having specific difference in refractive indexes between the thermosensitive recording layer and the coloring layer. CONSTITUTION:On one face of a support body 1 made of material such as plastic, glass plate, paper, etc., a reversible thermosensitive recording layer 2 and an overcoat layer 3 are layered. On other face of the support body 1, an adhesive 4 containing an air layer 6 is provided. On the adhesive 4, a color drawing paper 5 is layered so as to obtain a reversible thermosensitive recording material. The reversible thermosensitive recording layer 2 is formed in such a manner that a solution in which resin matrix and organic low molecular material are dissolved is prepared, thereafter the support body 1 is coated with the solution and dried. Polyvinyl chloride and vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer are suitable for the resin matrix, and palmitic acid and margaric acid suitable for the organic low molecular material. Obtained reversible thermosensitive recording material has a high contrast and a high angle of visibility, so that recorded visible information can be confirmed easily. |
