PURPOSE:To perform color recording with a clear profile and a high density without bleeding in characters or images by a method wherein specific relations are provided among the weights of the 1st-4th color ink delivered from one orifice and the speeds of the respective ink at the impact on a transfer medium. CONSTITUTION:When a color image is recorded by overlapping four color ink of yellow, magenta, cyan, and black, relations shown by formulas I, II are met where the weights of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th color ink delivered from one orifice are M1-M4 (mug/dot), and the speeds of the respective ink at the impact on a transfer medium are V1-V4 (m/sec). In this manner, because of the absence of excess ink on the transfer medium, the running or bleeding of ink caused by the mixing of colors can be prevented. In addition, a required dot diameter with a large surface area can be obtained, sufficient quick-drying properties can be imparted, and printing with a high resolving power is ensured. |
