PURPOSE:To perform holding, releasing the end part of a work and horizontal holding with a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:An air cylinder 40 is fixed to a lower clamping plate piece 35 and an upper clamping plate 37 is fixed to a piston rod 41 in the air cylinder 40 and a clamping member 50 is constituted of these members. Then the upper clamping plate 35 holds the end part of a work W by driving the air cylinder 40 and cooperating with the lower clamping plate 35. A spring 39 is arranged between a spring receiver 51 and the upper clamping plate 37. A first stopper 53 for holding the clamping member 50 to the horizontal posture by receiving the clamping member 50 energized with this spring 39 and a second stopper 54 for holding the clamping member 50 to the posture, which the end part of the work W can be inserted between the upper and lower clamping plates 37, 35 at the time of release-moving the clamping member 50, are arranged. |
