A plastic container (10) for liquids has a base body (12) composed of a bottom (14) and four sidewalls (18, 20) made of a single piece and is closed by a cover plate (24) whose inner face is slanted towards an opening that can be closed by a cap (44). Sealing strips lie on the side of an annular projection that faces the inside of the container around the opening. The cap can be screwed on the annular projection. A safety ring (56) prevents the cap (44) from falling off the container (10) when the cap (44) is loosely screwed on the opening. |
