<p>Woven fabric having the appearance of a warp knitted fabric is formed by joining each pair of warp yarns with a weft yarn to form new warp yarns. Thus the number of yarns is reduced by half, and the warp yarns are inter-woven with further weft yarn to form simple or multiple patterns. Fabric produced gives the appearance as though it were produced with half the numbers of calipers.</p> |
