A pipe coupling arrangement wherein a coupling body (1) is fitted on at least one of a pair of pipes (A,B) to connect the pipes with one another comprising a protruded portion (5) formed on the outer periphery of each of the pipes (A,B), an annular sleeve (6) having an inner wall (6A) therein being engageable with the protruded portion (5), the sleeve (6) provided in a space between the outer periphery of the pipe (A,B) and the inner periphery of the coupling body (1), a threaded hole (8) being inwardly and slantingly formed in the coupling body (1) closer to one end thereof for arresting the slipping off of the sleeve (6) from the coupling body (1), a cut-away face (7) being formed on the outer periphery of the sleeve (6), the cut-away face (7) having a tilt angle perpendicular to that of the threaded hole (8), and a fastening member (9) being screwed into the threaded hole (8) such that the tip portion of the fastening member (9) can abut against the cut-away face (7). <IMAGE> |
