PURPOSE:To continuously extrude a tubular body divided in two by a partition by a method wherein a mandrel with a groove formed in the front-half part thereof is housed in the die chamber of an extruder and a part of a molding material is made to flow in the groove. CONSTITUTION:A softened forming material extruded from an extruder 1' into a die chamber 2' is expanded by a mandrel 4 housed in the chamber and having a groove 4A in the front-half part thereof and is formed to be hollow. At this time, a part of the forming material is made to flow into the groove 4A located in the front- half part of the mandrel to form an interior partition 2 unitarily with the main body of the pipe. An extruded and melted thermoplastic resin material passes through the die chamber 2' and is expanded in the shape of the pipe by the mandrel 4, while the melted material flows into the groove 4A, thereby the partition 2 is formed. By said procedure, a drain divided in two channels where rain water and waste water flow separately can be formed continuously. |
