A microprocessor-controlled manually or electrically (mains or pref. photocell) operated, top loading, continuous compositing reactor ('OKo Top-Mull Ex' composting reactor) consists of an airtight insulating housing of 0.5 to at least 7 micron size through which air is drawn upwardly and which has an airtightly, closeable inlet (2) with a combined safety on-and-off switch (12), a shredder tool (3) a discharge system (4) and a compost reservoir (5) opt. with a compression device (11).
