A spread spectrum communication, SSC, transmitter has a pseudo-random code generator (24) operated with a clock generator (23) that supplies a mixing stage (26) with an input from an oscillator (25). The mixer output is received by a band-pass filter (27) coupled to a drive amplifier (28). The code generator has two stages that deliver two outputs (PN1,PN2) to the mixer. The receiver filters the input and supplies to a correlator of a SAW convolver type that also receives the input from a reference pseudo-random code generator. The correlated signal is processed by a comparator and demodulator. |
