The present invention relates to a method and a device for separating away moisture precipitated from the expanded exhaust steam (U) in a low-pressure turbine (LT) in the vacuum chamber which comprises the space (V) between the inner housing (2) and the outer housing (1) of the low-pressure turbine and the space of the condenser (3) connected thereto. The method and the device are characterized by an arrangement in which existing surfaces (27) and surfaces (6, 8) installed for the purpose capture moisture precipitated in the steam flow, that moisture traps (10, 21) are arranged for collecting moisture running off said surfaces, that flow guides (9, 18) are arranged for guiding the steam flow to the desired flow paths, and that the collected moisture is diverted. |
