摘要 The rotary magnet quotient measurement mechanism contains two mutually perpendicularly oriented magnetic coils (1,2) which produce a resultant magnetic field for a rotary magnetic indicator. The coils are acted upon by a variable control signal dependent on the measurement parameter. The first coil receives a control signal varying with the parameter and the second receives a control signal equal to the difference between the first control signal and a signal complementary to it. The control signals are pulse width modulated signals with frequency significantly higher than the indicator natural frequency. USE/ADVANTAGE - For indicating a physical parameter, esp. tank contents or coolant temp. in ic engine. Simplified drive arrangement.
