The sealing system comprises the convolution or strips (I) with one or more sealing lips, which are round, angular, triangular, rectangular, quadratic, oval spherical or cone shaped, prismatic or polygonal. (I) are made of silicone rubber, an elastomer or other sealing material. The seal has an inner reinforcment, e.g. a metal or plastic-type reinforcement, and laterally has a U-shaped fixture tab. Beneath or above, on one or two sides, the seal is connected with a plastic or metal strip. It is provided with a decoration, so that as a design strip, it fulfils an additional optical function. USE/ADVANTAGE - To seal a door and other apertures in vehicles of all kinds against the entry of all manner of harmful substances.
