<p>In the process according to the present invention, the waste water is pumped in circulation via a body standing in the open having a large surface area and concentrated up to the limit of flowability. The thickened waste water, in which the substances to be degraded are enriched, is then added in a further step to a suitable absorbent and preferably biodegradable substrate which is then subjected to composting, including the waste materials.</p>
