Protection has (a) section for location on the shin bone and (b) section for the knee cap. The shin bone section is formed as part of a cylinder cover, the knee cap section in the form of a calotte. The fixture elements of the trousers consist of two or more adjacently located individual parts, e.g. parallel strips which are flat and pliable, and are attached adhesively to the trouser material. They are such that they do not hnider the leg movements of the wearer. The fixture elements for the knee protections are flatly formed and are arranged inwardly on the section of the knee protection locating on the shin bone.
