PURPOSE:To save the display area of a bit map display through displaying data quantitatively and compressing the display area by plotting a character instead of a graph and converting a font used in character plotting to the one in accordance with the size of data when the graph is displayed in a system in which the bit map display is employed as a display device and the font is used in the character plotting. CONSTITUTION:Enumeration data for graphic display and, corresponding a plotting character and a plotting position can be obtained by interpreting a parameter delivered from host routine by a data input part 1. A font selection part 2 selects the font from a font table in which a font name is stored based on graphic data obtained at the data input part 1, and obtains the attribute of the font used in the character plotting. Finally, a character plotting part 3 plots the plotting character in accordance with every graphic data by using the attribute of the font obtained at the font selection part 2. |
