<p>PURPOSE:To provide the high-reliability electronic dictionary with which word information is easily corrected by a user and the source word information is not destroyed even when there is error in the correction processing. CONSTITUTION:This electronic dictionary is provided with an index storage file to store the index information of words, first word information file 3 to store the word information corresponding to the stored index information of words, second word information correction file 4 to store the corrected word information in respect to the stored word information, display flag to display whether the word information is corrected or not in respect to the stored index information of words, and controller to select either the first or second word information storage file 3 or 4 in response to the display contents of the display flag.</p> |
