An encoder circuit so designed as to convert input data composed of binary codes into RNS data, and provided with a dividing means for dividing the input data into a plurality of data using fixed bits; a first ROM table circuit for applying weighted processing to the plurality of data and converting them into residue data for each fixed modulus; and a second ROM table circuit for converting the addition value of said residue data for each modulus into residue data of each corresponding modulus; and characterized in outputting residue data obtained via the second ROM table circuit as residue data composing the RNS data.
