PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the electrostatic charging ability of toner and to prevent image scattering and the occurrence of fogging by supplying the toner which is scraped by a blade into a toner hopper after being stored in a storage part for a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:A toner storage part 13 capable of storing the toner (t) scraped by a blade 14 and successively supplying the toner into a toner hopper 6 is arranged above the toner hopper 6. The toner storage part 13 is provided with a toner housing part 15 and a carrying roller 16 such as a sponge roller, etc., and by driving the carrying roller 16 so as to be rotated, the toner (t) in the toner housing part 15 drops through a pass hole 17 so as to be successively supplied into the toner hopper 6, and then, it drops again from the toner hopper 6 so as to be mixed with developer in a housing 7. By storing the exposed toner in the toner storage part for the prescribed time in such a manner, the electrostatic charging ability (memory performance) of the exposed toner can be recovered, and even in the case of reusing the photosensitive toner, the electrostatic charging ability of the toner can return to an initial state. |
