PURPOSE:To provide the image forming means where image formation is always carried out with stable image density by preventing developer from sticking onto a measuring surface of a measuring means for quantity of sticking developer and preventing deterioration in measuring precision of the measuring means for quantity of sticking developer. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a latent image forming means to form a latent image based on a specified image data on an image carrier, a developing means carrying out developing by having the developer stuck to the latent image on the image carrier formed by this latent image forming means, a measuring means 8 for quantity of sticking developer to measure the quantity of developer stuck onto the image carrier, provided facing the image bearing body, and a developer sticking prevention means 84 preventing the developer from sticking to the measuring surface of the developer sticking quantity facing the image carrier of this measuring means for quantity of sticking developer 8. |
