PURPOSE:To reduce bending processes by forming free end sides from bent sections into straight lines, fitting a thick locator at a straight line section, and arranging terminals of individual lines in zigzag. CONSTITUTION:A short terminal 16 has outside terminal sections 16a, 16b, and a long terminal 15 has an outside terminal section 15a and an inside terminal section 15b. They are pressed into the terminal press-in hole 13 of a connector main body 11 in turn at one end, and they are bent at bent sections 16c, 15c on the middle sections. The terminal sections 16a, 15a are bent into a slightly obtuse angle, and the terminal sections 16b, 15b are bent into a slightly acute angle. The fronts from the bent sections 16c, 15c are formed into straight lines, and the other ends are inserted into terminal insertion holes 18 of a locator 17 in zigzag. The thickness of the locator 17 is sufficiently thick, the angular insertion holes 18 are sufficiently long, their upper ends are opened, thus the terminals 15, 16 are easily inserted. The locator 17 restricts the direction and pitch of the terminals 15, 16, thus bending processes are reduced. They are aligned with no dispersion, thus the direction and pitch can be easily changed. |
