PURPOSE:To record high definition color images regardless of a recording member to be used by executing an image processing while changing both color correcting parameter and density correcting parameter. CONSTITUTION:A storage control means 10 controls storing means 11 and 12 to temporarily store the input image data of R, G and B. A color converting means 14 decides the density of three primary colors C, M and Y to be used at a color ink jet recorder. Corresponding to the C, M and Y data, a density converting means 15 stores converted C', M' and Y' decided in advance. A control panel 19 selects a recording medium, switches a switching means 18 by an MPU 20, sets the prescribed parameter to the color converting means 14 and sets density converting data to the density converting means 15. A pseudo intermediate processing means 16 spriously expresses the respective gradation images of the C', M' and Y' according to the existence of dots per unit area. According to image data generated by the means 16, a recording means 17 executes recording by attaching Cyan, Magenta and Yellow ink to the recording medium. |
