PURPOSE:To change patterns of faces in a three-dimensional CAD by defining the patterns in a batch. CONSTITUTION:A pattern code is assigned to each kind of the face by a pattern look-up table 1, and the pattern of each face of a three dimensional model is decided by a pattern defining table 3. And also, the pattern look-up table 1 is replaced with the content of a pattern type preserving table 2, so that the pattern of the face of a three-dimensional model can be changed in a batch. At that time, the pattern of the face is indirectly defined, so that the setting and change of the pattern of the face can be operated in a batch independently of the model. Thus, the examination of the design of the three dimensional model can be efficiently operated. |
