PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of information transmission by obtaining an output with a fixed amplitude having no variation on the leading part of an output signal from an AGC circuit. CONSTITUTION:A receiving signal is simultaneously inputted to a delay circuit 2 and a signal intensity detecting circuit 3. A gain control signal corresponding to the input level of the receiving signal is outputted from the circuit 3 and a voltage converter 4 to a variable gain amplifier 1. Since a so-called time delay is generated during a period from the input of the receiving signal to the circuit 3 up to the output of a gain controlling signal to the amplifier 1, the receiving signal inputted to the amplifier 1 is delayed only by a time equal to a time delay generated in the circuit 3 and the converter 4 by means of a delay circuit 2 and inputted to the amplifier 1 at the same timing as the gain controlling signal. |
