PURPOSE:To provide the dot matrix light emission display body whose light emission directional characteristics are easily selected. CONSTITUTION:A display body substrate 10a consists of a wiring board 1 and a mask plate 4, for example, 8X8 LED light emitting elements 2 are arranged longitudinally and laterally on the wiring board 1 at constant intervals, and a mask plate 4 where 8X8 through holes 3 are formed corresponding to the respective LED light emitting elements 2 is superposed and united in one body; and transparent spherical bodies 5 are arranged in the respective through holes 3 corresponding to the respective LED light emitting elements 2, and transparent resin 6 is charged to form 8X8 light emission dots 7. The light refractive index of the sealing transparent resin 6 is smaller than that of the light-transmissive spherical bodies 5. |
