PURPOSE:To facilitate the specification of a logic block containing defective parts. CONSTITUTION:An input path and an output path 301 and 302 of a shift-path circuit are formed in logic blocks 101-104 obtained by dividing logic circuits 10. All registers or memories 20 constituting the logic circuits 10 are connected in series with the paths 301 and 302. The logic paths and the shift paths are selected with mode signals, which are inputted into the logic blocks 101-104 with mode-signal paths 201-204. Output paths 401-404 of bypass circuits bypass all or part of the shift path circuits in the logic blocks 101-104. When there is a defective Part in the bypassed shift path circuit, the contents of the register or the memory before the bypass circuit, which is shown with, e.g. 'A' and cannot perform reading, can be read out through the bypass circuit. |
