PURPOSE:To improve the operation convenience for the user by operating a discriminating information storage means on this side during communication with other reproducing means by control means of the individual reproducing means and a discriminating information storage means of the other reproducing means. CONSTITUTION:When CD players 5-7 arranged for storing custom files of compact disks (CDs) in custom file memories 10-12 and a normal CD player 4 are connected to be plural sets, the communication is performed with a system control device 3 and among other CD players 4-7 by control circuits of the individual CD players 4-7. Then, access is performed to memories 10-12 on this side and to memories 10-12 of the other CD players 4-7. By this constitution, since the memories 10-12 can be managed in common as a whole from the view point of all the CD players 4-7, when a CD is reproduced by a CD player other than the player registered with the custom file, it is not necessary to make newly a custom file and reregistration, and hence the operation convenience for the user can thus be improved. |
