ELECTRODE AND ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR HAVING THE SAME ELECTRODE

摘要

PURPOSE:To decrease electric resistance values of a sheet-shaped electrode used for a title capacitor and to enhance collection efficiency by electroless plating a PTFE with metal. CONSTITUTION:An active carbon powder, carbon black, and a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) are kneaded to obtain a sheet-shaped material, which is then punched out, dipped in a nickel electroless plating solution, and plated. PTFE fibers of this sheet-shaped electrode are plated with nickel. This sheet- shaped electrode is used to manufacture a single body of an electric double layer capacitor. This process can provide a sheet-shaped electrode of small electric resistance value and favorable collection efficiency.
