摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a controller for a converter which drives a linear synchro nous motor (LSM) for levitation railroad, in which influence of voltage drop due to the impedance of feeder line can be eliminated by correcting the voltage drop due to load impedance of a length of feeder line according to the vehicle position. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle position detector 12 detects a vehicle in a section where a converter 4-A is operated, a current pattern generator 11 delivers a current pattern signal for driving an LSM to a voltage reference calculating circuit 10. On the other hand, sectional position of vehicle is inputted to a load factor operating circuit 14 which then delivers load factor data to an adder 15 in order to determine the output voltage of the converter 4-A. A gate control circuit 13 generates gate pulses for feeding AC current to a feeder line 5-A and a ground coil 6-1. Since voltage drop due to lengthening of feeder line is corrected by means of a correction coefficient operating circuit 14 and the adder 15, an appropriate AC voltage can be applied at all times.</p>
