<p>PURPOSE:To give proper charge to a toner and to form picture excellent in fine line reproducibility and gradation property without deterioration of performance for long-term use by incorporating a specified calixarene compd. into a charge donating material. CONSTITUTION:The charge donating material contains calixarene compd. expressed by formula I. In formula I, R is hydrogen atom, alkyl group, unsatd. alkyl group, carboxyalkyl group or its salt, acyl group, or aromatic hydrocaton group, R1-R3 are independently hydrogen atom, halogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group, aromatic hydrocarbon group, hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, amino group which may have substitutent of alkyl group and/or acyl group, nitro group, sulfon group, sulfoaminde group, carbamoyl group, cyano group, lower alkylcarboxylic acid ester, or acyl group. n is an integer 4-10. Thereby, rising of charges in the toner and stability of electrification can be improved.</p> |
