<p>PURPOSE:To enable rapid and uniform erasing of colors without color irregularity only by irradiation of near infrared ray by using a specified polyolefin wax as a wax for the toner. CONSTITUTION:The color erasable toner contains a binder resin expressed by formula I, II or III, dye which absorbs near infrared ray, color erasing agent and polyolefin wax. The toner contains 0.01-25 pts.wt. of dye which absorbs near infrared ray and 0.1-20 pts.wt. of polyolefin wax to 100 pts.wt. of the binder resin, and 1-2500 pts.wt. of erasing agent to 100 pts.wt. of dye which absorbs near infrared ray. The polyolefin wax is colorless and compatibile with the binder resin. In formula, X is a halogen ion, perchloric ion, etc., R<1>-R<4> are independently hydrogen atoms, hydrocarbon groups, etc., Y is a cation having absorption characteristics in a near infrared region, R<5>-R<8> are independently alkyl groups, aryl groups, etc., R<9>-R<12> are independently hydrogen atoms, alkyl groups, etc.</p> |
