PURPOSE:To provide a coaxial cable connector where numerous coaxial cables can be engaged with coaxial connectors by low fitting (inserting) force. CONSTITUTION:Numerous coaxial connectors 23 are attached to an opening 22 of a housing 21. Center signal conductors are connected to each other via a socket 37 fixed to the ends of numerous coaxial cables 35 connected to the coaxial connectors 23. Outside conductors 23a, 36 are brought into elastic contact with each other via an elastic presser 39 and rotary mechanisms 36a, 38, 38a, thus reducing fitting force as a whole. The outside conductors are slightly rotated during engagement, thereby generating a wiping effect. Consequently, it is possible to obtain excellent electric contact. |
