PURPOSE:To replace operation information and continue normal operation as it is if a copy key or movement key are misoperated. CONSTITUTION:The word processor 20 which has a copy mode wherein a copying process is performed with the copy key 17 depressed according to copying operation information on a copy range and a copy destination and a movement mode wherein a moving process is performed with the movement key 18 depressed according to moving operation information on a movement range and a movement destination is provided with an operation information memory 20 storing the copying operation information or moving operation information and a mode switching part 6 which performs a specific restoring process and switches the current mode to the other mode, and replaces one piece of operation information up to the depression point of the key with the other piece of the operation information when the key for specifying the other mode is depressed during the processing in one mode; when the key specifying the other mode is depressed during the processing in one mode, the mode is switched to the other mode and the process in the other mode is carried on according to one piece of operation information after the operation. |
