The present invention relates to a locking device for roller shutters. Locking device characterised in that it is principally made up, on the one hand, of a shaped intermediate or end slat (1, 1') provided at its top end with a guiding groove (2) which extends along the entire length of the said slat (1, 1') and, on the other hand, of a long bolt (3) fitted so that it can slide in the said guiding groove (2) and, finally, of an operating device (4) which engages with the said bolt (3) in order to move it, the said locking device being fitted without the need for any attachment means. <IMAGE>
