PURPOSE:To produce a cross-linked vinyl chloride resin foam excellent in physical properties at a high expansion ratio under normal pressure without using any cross-linker. CONSTITUTION:An epoxidized vinyl chloride resin having an epoxy group content at the surface of the resin particles of 1X10<-2>wt.% or higher, a total epoxy group content of 10wt.% or lower, and a mean particle diameter of 0.05-5mum is mixed with an org. blowing agent having a decomposition temp. of 100 deg.C or higher and a plasticizer below the decomposition temp. of the blowing agent and foamed by heating to give the title foam. |
