REMOVAL OF MALODOR

PURPOSE:To provide a method for removing a malodor using a catalyst having long life and high capacity. CONSTITUTION:After raw gas G containing a malodor passes trough a dust removing filter 1 and a hydrogen sulfide removing filter bed 2, a branch cock 3 is oppened and a branch cock 4 is closed to send the raw gas to a catalytic reactor 6 using a gold ultra-fine particle-immobilized oxidizing catalyst to remove the malodorous component in the gas and the treated gas is discharged to the open air as odorless gas by an exhaust fan 7. When the branch cock 3 is closed and the branch cock 4 is opened, the gas having passed through the hydrogen sulfide removing filter bed 2 once passes through an ammonia removing filter bed 5 to be sent to the catalyst reactor 6 to remove the malodorous component in the gas and discharged to the atmosphere as odorless gas by the exhaust fan 7.
