The cutting torch includes adjustment means (1 to 7) for continuously adjusting the flow rate of cutting oxygen. A conical end-piece (nozzle) (2) is mounted so as to be able to move in a valve body (3) having a conical seat (4). A valve stem (5) is subjected to the action of a return spring (6) and may be moved by an actuation lever (7), the travel of which can be adjusted by means of an adjustable stop device (8). The invention applies to torches for the oxygen-cutting of metals and makes it possible to cut workpieces over a wide range of thicknesses by means of the same cutting nozzle. <IMAGE>
