The invention relates to toilet paper generally in the form of a continuous wound web or of superimposed folded sheets. According to the invention, the toilet paper is characterised in that it incorporates an extract of natural plants possessing therapeutic properties. In certain variants of the invention, said extract is incorporated into the paper by the processes of soaking, spraying or printing, no preference being implied. In the case of printing, an advertising message can be printed on the surface of said paper using said extract containing an additional colorant.
