PURPOSE:To cut a thin insert from thin sheet to be the insert simultaneously with the clamping of mold halves by providing a blade for cutting the excess length of inserts which is fitted into the side of a male half of a mold at the opening edge for cavity of a female half. CONSTITUTION:A blade 5 for cutting the excess length 4a of an insert 4 laid along the molding surface of the male half 1 of a mold is provided at the opening edge for cavity of a female half 2. The blade 5 is installed with an internally directed flat back fitted into the side 1a of the male half 1 and an externally directed tilted blade formed. The edge where the blade 5 for the male half 1 is formed in a recessed part 6. The excess length 4a of the cut insert 4 is stored in the recessed part 6. |
