PURPOSE:To automatically enlarge the pitch of one row of articles and transfer the articles to a transport conveyer to be favorable for packing by suitably gathering and spreading out sliding pieces with an article scoop-up plate of a scoop-up apparatus to scoop up articles arranged in a fixed pitch with the scoop- up plate. CONSTITUTION:Articles (a) are arranged in several rows, and disposed is an article table 2 in which the pitches of respective rows of plural articles (a) are uniformed. An intermittent running transport conveyer 4 in which the article partition pitch is larger than the above pitch is provided with scoop-up devices 36 reciprocating according to variations in distance caused by fluctuation of rotational frequency of a reversible motor 10 corresponding to each of alignments of articles. The scoop-up device 36 is provided with a lot of sliding pieces 21 with a scoop-up plate 23, which are capable of moving to gather corresponding to article pitch P and moving to spread out corresponding to pitch P of the transport conveyer 4. The sliding pieces are adapted to advance toward the article table 2 of the scoop-up device 36. The sliding pieces 21 are gathered and retreated corresponding to the transport conveyer 4 by the first cylinder and spread out by the second cylinder. |
